The crews of each tank lorry carry with them, the T/L’s calibration chart indicating the quantity of oil at various dip readings. Inspector, Weight & Measurement, duly verifies this chart annually, Reference dip reading of tank lorry is also recorded on the calibration chart, which indicates the total depth of tank inclusive of collar of dip hole. Tank Lorries reporting without original calibration chart should not be accepted, the validity of calibration chart should also be checked, which is valid for one year from the date of issue.

Parking of Tank lorry
The tank lorry should be parked while reporting at your site on an even ground near descending bay or storage facility. After parking tank lorry and before taking dips, product setting time from 15 minutes to ½ hour should be given depending on the product.

SEALS
All the inlets/outlets of tank lorry are sealed and checked for quantity and quality purpose, before the tank lorry leaves our supply point. Please check to ensure that all the seals of tank lorry are infect. Tank Lorries reporting without seals or having tempered seals must be rejected forthwith.
CALIBRATION CHART
DIP ROD
Every tank lorry carries with it a dip rod. Company does not take the responsibility for the accuracy of these dip rods because these can be replaced any number of times reroute or can be shorten intentionally by some unethical individuals to assist them in their malpractice. As Such, the respective customers should keep either his own dip rod duly verified by the inspector, weight & measurement or check the dip rod for accuracy, with the help of measuring tape.
